It's silly. It is a little cheesy. I love it so much.

"Be Hoppy"

Worcester is a weird town to run in, for me at least. You will be running through a neighborhood and then find a nice trail that loops through a glade in the middle of a neighborhood or you will be running on what you think is a nice surface street path to downtown and you will find yourself in a rotary where every direction seems to be taking you to the highway. It's a little stressful. It's also why I am glad that Wormtown exists. I have never not been greeted with a big smile.

For patrons at least, it is the type of place were you can relax and enjoy yourself after you have been on the strugglebus for a bit. They have a variety of options that always appeal to me, including big IPAs that quench my thirst and a variety of other potables. For food, get the big pretzel. Were you expecting anything else for me?

It seems that there was a running club that would spend time after their runs at the brewery (Boston Globe) but their website is unavailable and the Wormtown Milers Twitter feed has not been updated in a bit.

There is some street parking and a lot within walking distance, so if you have just finished the Worcester Half Marathon, you may want to be dropped off. On my visits, I did not notice well behaved dogs or children, so you may want to call first.
