When we walked in, one of the first things that I noticed behind the bar was a bottle of something labeled "Elmo Juice" and my thoughts went to it either being juice for a Muppet or the juice OF a Muppet. It is neither but the component of a cocktail.

It is almost cliche to describe a brewery in Brooklyn as a hipster haven but I did wonder how it would be if we came in sweaty and gross from running the streets of King County. I think it would be fine. When doing a little bit of research, I saw that a handful of running clubs would use the brewery as a destination but not in years. Anyone want to go for a run and then get some beer and food in Brooklyn? I am up for it for research purposes.

We had the pretzels and the fried cheese curds because when you are offered fried cheese curds you eat the friend cheese curds. They were provided by The Meathook which has a location in the brewery. Other people in our party got the chicken sandwich and the burger and they both looked and smelled GREAT!

Overall, this place is a winner. I have a lot of questions and it would be great if we got another review from someone that considers this their local but I would go back again, especially if we get to go running.

Sorry, no dogs allowed in the Yard but the do allow puppers in the sidewalk seating. We took a car here and as it is in Brooklyn, parking may be an issue.
